Regular Officer Cadets

local_police Regular Officer Cadets

Age 18 to 22 years for Advanced level holders; 18 to 24 years for diploma and degree holders.

Education Three Advanced Level passes with a minimum of 6 points. A degree or higher diploma is an added advantage.

Physical Fitness Candidates have to pass an officer selection before training.

Medical Cadets

Technical / Specialist Personnel

Training Potential Officers undergo a 6 months Basic Officers Course (BOC).

Eligibility

General Recruitment Criteria

The minimum qualifications for eligibility across all categories.

Minimum Height 1.65m for males and 1.55m for females.
scale
Standard Weight Minimum of 55kgs for males and 53kgs for females.

Body Mass Index The recommended BMI shall be between 18-24.

Physical Fitness Test 10 km road run in 50min for males and 60min for females.
health_and_safety
Medical Fitness Subject to thorough medical examinations (Manual of Medical Administration 2011).

Police Clearance Required, including authentication of academic qualifications.

Marital Status Potential Officer Cadets and General Duty candidates must be single by selection.
