Operational Footprint: Over the decades, 2 Brigade has contributed significant infantry and mechanized units to regional stabilization campaigns. It played a major role in securing trade corridors against RENAMO during the Mozambique Campaign (1983–1992) and deployed heavy frontline battalions during the Second Congo War (1998–2003) in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
